satyr, drool you bastards, bosom

(no subject)

Three months into a new relationship, people should have to convene a panel of their friends to evaluate their new SO. If the panel decides that it hates the SO (Note: This decision was probably made informally about two and a half months ago), the person must seriously consider breaking up with the SO. The panel's decision is not binding at three months. The decision at the six-month stage, though--THAT'S binding. If the person doesn't want to break up with their SO at that point, they have to get new friends.

So much pain and drama could be avoided by this simple technique. Why hasn't it already been instituted? Fascism can be nice!
