A while back, I got sick of sitting in a little cube all day staring at a computer screen. I don't want to be a copyeditor forever. I want a career with excitement, drama, the chance to see new things, romance, camelback riding, cash galore, and maybe even a tour of Nepal. That was two months ago. I picked a new course and have been working on a slow slide into it ever since.
Am thinking that perhaps webmaster/freelance writer was not the best choice.
SPRING Duck pate Easter candy A trip to Nepal ...Or maybe a trip to France. Or Burundi. Or Kyoto. I HAVE A TRAVEL CALENDAR AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE IT. A tour of the Berkshires as the spring blooms start to open Veal with lemon sauce in the North End, with Mike's Pastries to top off the meal A peacock-blue kimono Ram's horns Tamago sushi A book about Japanese temples that shows how the priests and monks live, fully illustrated and about three inches thick A breezy porch overlooking a broad valley A motorcycle A trip to the zoo Command of the Japanese language A penthouse atelier overlooking the Back Bay, with extra windows opening onto New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, St. Petersburg, a certain small town in Virginia, and The Ark, a hotel in the Kenyan wilderness. Also, a ladder to climb out of those windows. A ceiling like the one at Hogwarts Orange-flavored chicken and pork fried rice An extra 4 hours in the day, with no extra sleep requirements
